There are a lot of meditation teachers out there to choose from whether it is Reiki meditation, Shiatsu Meditation or even Yoga Meditation. However, meditation teachers do not know whether the student is able to reach the meditative state or if the student is suitable for a certain technique.

“Which method or technique that actually suits me?” This is often a question asked by beginners in meditation and the first step is often very crucial.

The truth is meditation technique is the last thing beginner needs to worry. The point that beginners often missed is the perspective of life. The perception of life needs to be corrected; this is the very first and critical step. Great meditation masters do not start with meditation techniques but the mind that looks at the world have to be changed first.

Going through the correct path in meditation, people will gain understanding and experience.. Why choose to believe if you can understand and experience?

To begin meditation is to understand life. To understand life is to live life. To live life is to stay from moment to moment. There is no right or wrong in our life journey. Life flows. It does not stand still. Life is more like a river but not a lake. There was a great master says that every human being is just a drop of water in river.

Understand the flow of your life, the experience that you gain in life. Feel the loveliness, anger, sadness in you without any judgment; every emotion that appears in you comes from you yourself. Understand the emotions, look at it as if you are the observer from a distant, then you can feel the gap. Is this you or are you the observer?

This is understanding and experience of life. On the other hand, this is also the first step in meditation.
