Meditation is dedicated to developing a sense of calm. Calm is what you experience when you meditate, calm is what you practice and calm is what you achieve as a result. This simple state is so easy to achieve, but it can have a wonderful effect on your life. Stress has to be one of the most common problems we have to live with these days, every time we turn on the TV or read a paper, its doom and gloom, or something totally negative, they never like to tell you about the good things, so obviously this is going to stress you out.
If ever there was a period in history when you could fall victim to he ravages of stress it is right now. Stress is accepted as the most common promoter of disease and discomfort in the western world. It has helped escalate the incidence of heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and so many of the awful conditions diagnosed by doctors.
You know how easy it is to get stressed out, the alarm fails to go of and you are late for work, or the hassle of driving, how stressful airports have become, hundreds of times a day you encounter these situations which trigger the fight or flight reaction, primitive man used these reactions to solve his problems, but after he was able to calm down and his stress dissolved, its not so easy for us, we have to stay at our desk, or stuck in a traffic jam. Your nerves are primed for fight or flight and there is nothing you can do about it is it any wonder stress builds
There has to be a practical solution to this!
There is meditation makes it possible to live a stress free life without making dramatic changes to your lifestyle. It is possible to face everyday feeling calm relaxed and coping easily with the pressures modern life presents. Meditation not only promotes a powerful health giving frame of mind, but it is one of the most powerful antidotes to stress known to man, it will have a positive effect on your state of mind and your general state of health. Use it sincerely and I promise the day will certainly come when you no longer fall victim to stress.
